Made Bike Park Madesimo

Located in the heart of the Skiarea Valchiavenna, Made Bike Park is a key destination for downhill and enduro mountain bike enthusiasts. Set on the alpine slopes of Valle Spluga, the park uses the ski lifts to allow riders to quickly reach higher elevations and enjoy descents through a spectacular mountain environment.

The park features six gravity trails of varying difficulty levels, classified similarly to ski slopes with blue, red and black routes suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. The trails run through forests, alpine meadows, technical sections, berms, rock gardens, jumps and flowing stretches, offering diverse experiences for downhill, freeride and enduro riding.

Among the best-known trails are Balloon, an easy and flowing blue route ideal for riders approaching freeride; Easy Pipe, designed for smooth and accessible riding; Made for Fun and Larici, which include more natural and technical sections; and Crestino and Valle delle Streghe DH, intended for advanced bikers seeking demanding descents and technical features.

One of the park’s distinctive characteristics is the variety of trails available for different skill levels and riding styles. Alongside more technical downhill routes, visitors will also find flow trails and enduro-oriented tracks designed to offer a smoother and more accessible riding experience while maintaining a strong connection with the natural mountain environment.

The bike park can be reached directly from the pedestrian centre of Madesimo via the Larici Gondola, which takes riders to the Alpe Groppera area in less than five minutes. From there, all trails descend directly back to the village, allowing for quick lift-assisted laps throughout the day.

Made Bike Park is also connected to a wider network of MTB routes across Valchiavenna, linking with panoramic itineraries, single tracks and mountain biking routes between Madesimo, Campodolcino and Valle Spluga. This makes it possible to combine gravity riding with traditional mountain biking excursions.

In addition to the downhill trails, the area also includes facilities dedicated to learning and improving riding skills, such as a skill park and pump track. These spaces are used for training sessions as well as introductory activities for younger riders and those wishing to improve bike control.

From a scenic perspective, Made Bike Park offers impressive views over the mountains of Valle Spluga. During the descents, riders alternate between forest sections and more open areas overlooking alpine valleys, mountain pastures and peaks that define the landscape of Valchiavenna.

Today, Made Bike Park is one of Lombardy’s most dynamic mountain biking destinations, helping to establish Madesimo and Valchiavenna as increasingly popular locations for downhill, enduro and alpine cycling activities.
