St. Lawrence Night – Chiavenna by Candlelight

A magical evening celebrating the patron saint of Chiavenna: during the “”St. Lawrence Night””, the public lighting in the historic centre is switched off and replaced by more than 2,000 candles, transforming the town’s streets and squares into an enchanting setting of light and shadow.

The atmosphere is enhanced by roaming performances featuring fire eaters, illuminated parades and street artists, as well as live acoustic music throughout the historic centre. Bars and restaurants will offer special themed menus, creating a unique experience combining food, music and entertainment.

A highlight of Chiavenna’s summer calendar, this event never fails to captivate both residents and visitors.
