Around 60km of ski slopes in total, all linked conveniently by modern transport systems right up to the 3000m of the imposing Pizzo Groppera. Martin - a great fan of free-ride in particular - confirms that challenges come thick and fast in the upper Valle Spluga. Perfect.
But there are more relaxing spots too with excellent refreshment options, a superbly-equipped snow-park, an area devoted to the very little ones and attractively-priced initiatives throughout the season.
